  Not a pet friendly patio, unaccommodating staff as well as rude...
  
  Our family of four brought our dog to enjoy local BBQ on the patio as we had done previously without issue.
  
  The last picnic table was directly in the sun and we slid it into the shade. Within moments a man from inside came out and told us we couldn't move the tables and that we couldn't have a dog outside. This was the same person who had served us outside with our dog previously...
  
  If dogs aren't welcome outside put up a sign, that's fine.
  
  If your unmovable tables are in the sun, don't be surprised when potential customers take their money elsewhere.
  
  If you want someone to do something for you try saying it nicely, oh and a smile always helps!
  
  We won't be back!

  Went here for lunch today. My only complaint is that the hot sauce was not hot at all. My wife also complained that the regular sauce tasted just like ketchup and mustard mixed together. Everything else was absolutely amazing though. We didnt even really need the sauce. Sweet tea and lemonade were great, the meat was barely able to stay on the bone of the ribs, and the mac and cheese was something to write home about. A true BBQ joint. My wife lived in North Carolina for 6 years and she said this was one of the top places she has been to. The people giving them one or two stars either have a stick up their ass or had a truly unique negative experience.

  I'm thinking this is the best tasting BBQ I have ever had. Cute little place with pictures on the walls of previous structures of this family run business.

  First of all, why the heck should any place have to post that that we can't bring animals where other humans eat? Did it cross your mind that maybe the guy who was "rude" to you thought you were nuts for bringing your dog to the restaurant?? Such signs can't be posted due to Service Dog Acts that allow people with service dogs, which clearly wasn't the case here, and who the heck starts moving tables without asking the establishment before doing so? Ever think that maybe it's set up the way it is because of safety escape routes established with the Fire Dept in case of emergency??....Humanity amazes me seriously!!
  
  Anyways, on my first and only visit the food was excellent, service not so much but hey, I'm not that thin skinned to expect any more than what I received.....It's a freakin BBQ joint!!! I'm from the Westside of Chicago, I've had much worse service at BBQ Joints there, if the food is good I could care less.
  
  Do yourself a favor and have the Brisket, it was very well made and tasty
